Since 2005 Peter Troilo from Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines in Darien has spearheaded a financial campaign which has funded the building of well frames to pump clean water to over 25,000 people in a remote area of Zambia, and has built water, hygiene and sanitation facilities (WASH) throughout impoverished Ethiopian villages where the poorest of the poor have never had access to clean water. This year Peter and David team up to present an evening of fine wine and food so that we all can contribute Turning Wine Into Water.

David has been bringing his fellow food industry friends together for 10 years now, coordinating these delicious and fanciful Chefs’ Dinner events to raise critical funds in the fight to end hunger in Fairfield County. The event benefits the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County which helps to put food on the tables of the most vulnerable, food insecure members of our community.
“We are so very proud of the work and the funds raised by our food industry, “says David, “It’s truly a team effort starting with the ingredients that are donated and the dishes prepared by these talented chefs.  Raising funds and supporting the food bank allows us to get back to the core of what we do – feed people.”

This year’s event brings together:
